GRANDDAUGHTERS
Granddaughters was an editorial featured in the May 2023 print edition of New York based magazine 'Hunter' and spotlights my own design work. As much now as ever before, reclaiming our names feels like a crucial act of resistance. Encompassing everyone who has ever felt 'othered', 'Witch' in the modern day is a war cry. The name comes from a quote I found in the depths of the internet long ago;
"We are the Granddaughters of the witches you were never able to burn."
The editorial uses exclusively clothing designed, constructed and styled by myself.
